Why buy a Wallbox anyway?

If you can charge an e-car at home using a Wallbox, you save time and money.
Ideally, electric cars are charged in your own garage or carport. Your car is generally parked there for a considerable period, and so even extended charging times are no problem. Ideally an advantageous electricity tariff applies, costing significantly less per kilowatt-hour than at public charging stations.

Furthermore, slow charging at a normal garage socket is not efficient: The charging losses are greater than when a Wallbox is used.
If you usually charge your e-car without using a Wallbox, then you pay more to the electricity provider for each charge than when using a Wallbox.

Our CCC-WALLBOX ensures greater safety, speed, and efficiency.
It ensures that a lot of power is charged into the battery as quickly as possible; it communicates, controls, and monitors. In addition, the CCC-WALLBOX contains protective devices against residual currents and overloads.

Is the CCC-WALLBOX compatible with my electric car?

The plug type is very important.
All vehicles which have a standard type 2 charging socket as per IEC 62196-2 can be charged using the CCC-WALLBOX.

How long does it take to charge my e-car?

A simple example: At a charging performance of 11 kW, an e-car with a battery capacity of 45 kWh charges in about 4 hours, and at a charging performance of 22 kW in about only 2 hours.
These are merely guideline values, because the performance is curbed e.g. when the battery charge exceeds 80% or before the battery starts to overheat. In addition, high charging performance by the Wallbox is of no benefit if the charging device built into the car is not designed for high values.
The performance actually possible is always decided by the slowest link in the chain: Wallbox, cable, or e-car.

Can I install my Wallbox myself?

Our recommendation: This should always be performed by a specialist company who is then liable for the correct installation.

A Wallbox should not be installed by amateurs or do-it-yourselfers, because a high-power connection is necessary.
A specialist electrician must therefore be engaged for the installation and fitting.
